Finding Peace in the Pause

Life moves fast — faster than most of us can keep up with. Between the morning rush, the endless to-do lists, and the noise that fills our days, it’s easy to lose sight of the little moments that remind us why we do it all in the first place.

That’s why I’m starting Midday Moments — a quiet space in the middle of the day to pause, breathe, and reflect.

It doesn’t have to be anything grand or perfectly planned. Sometimes it’s just sitting with a warm cup of coffee, taking a deep breath, and whispering, “Thank You, Lord.” Other times it’s noticing a small blessing — like sunshine coming through the window, a text from someone you love, or a sweet hug from one of the kids when you need it most.

These little moments are sacred.

They’re reminders that God is present, even in the middle of our messiest, busiest, most ordinary days.

So this space will be for just that — short reflections, gratitude, peace, and grace in the middle of it all. A moment to rest your heart and remember that even when life feels chaotic, there’s still beauty right where you are.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing we can do isn’t to push harder… it’s to pause.

“Be still, and know that I am God.”
